Powall raises additional capital

Powall raises additional capital

Powall is proud to announce that it has closed an additional investment round.

We are grateful that our existing investors Sandwater and Invest NL have made this possible, strengthened by participation of EIT RawMaterials.

Powall aims to enhance materials used in the energy transition by improving performance, lowering cost and making them more sustainable. Powall has unique expertise in ultra-thin coating technology, and know-how to develop and produce these materials at scale.

“This will allow us to accelerate the development of our nanocoating proposition” said Dr. Roderik Colen, CEO of Powall. “A welcome addition next to the already commercially available industrial pilot production unit for active battery materials.”

Powall’s unique and novel reactor enhances a wide range of powders used to power the next generation of sustainable technologies. This includes battery anodes and cathodes, fuel cells, electrolysers and more. Powall’s technology can enhance battery materials to improved stability and extend cycle life. This empowers our partners to build more efficient cathodes and anodes, reducing waste, saving money and contributing to a greener planet.

With this latest investment, Powall plans to finalize and bring its next generation Operio reactor to market
