The world needs a huge growth in batteries for transport and energy storage. To achieve this, we need to produce batteries which last longer and perform better than those available today.

Our nanocoatings enable li-ion cathode and anode material to realise improved durability and energy density. We have already demonstrated cycle life improvements over 80% on next generation cathode materials.

We can power up fuel cells by boosting the activity and durability of the catalyst surface. Our nanocoatings allow for a more precise catalyst layer reducing the use of scarce and expensive platinum group metals (PGM). Our flexible approach can be used to empower proton-exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells and related materials.
